About Us

SANKALP, is a national nodal cultural organization, significantly contributing towards promotion of India’s cultural diversity; as embodied in the uniqueness and plurality of its regional cultural identities, linguistic multiplicity, and manifold creativity. 

SANKALP has been bestowed with unique distinction of being one among four NGOs (others being, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Auroville of Aurobindo Ashram and Interfaith), whose work on culture and value, was found “very good” and “of particular interest” by the Govt. of India (Ministry of HRD) Committee, headed by Mr. Justice J.S. Verma, Former Chief Justice of India (with Dr. Karan Singh & Dr. L.M. Singhvi amongst others being the committee’s members), set up to Operationalise the Suggestions to Teach Fundamental Duties to the Citizens of the Country.
